East Sooke Fire is a Capital Regional District (CRD) Fire Department. The CRD Board of Directors established the East Sooke Fire Commission as an administrative & advisory body for the development, maintenance and operation of the East Sooke Volunteer Fire Department, in collaboration with CRD staff. Commissioners are members of the community and are not paid. The Commission does not create budgets, it provides input and recommendations to the CRD based on budget items presented by the Fire Chief.

The Commission meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at the East Sooke Community Hall at 19:00. Meetings are open to the public and we encourage you to attend and engage with the commission!
